Frequently asked questions

I lost access to my Peep wallet. Can you recover it?

Peep uses Privy's non-custodial embedded wallets. Your keys are held on your device, not by us. Recovery depends on the login method you used (Google, Apple, X/Twitter, or email). Sign back in with the same method on your new device and Privy will re-link the same wallet. We do not have access to your keys and cannot restore them for you.

My swap failed. Can I get a refund?

Failed swaps do not move your tokens, so there's nothing to refund. The priority fee paid to Solana validators is non-refundable by the network itself. If the same swap fails repeatedly with "Preflight failed", the Preflight Failed message is usually one of: insufficient balance, stale blockhash, slippage too low. Raise slippage one step or lower the amount and retry.

A broadcast from a paid group says it's expired, but I paid for access.

Broadcasts can have an expiry (Never / 1h / 24h / 7d) set by the creator — that's separate from your group subscription. An expired broadcast hides from the feed but you retain group access until your subscription ends.

Someone is harassing me in a Peep chat.

Tap the message → Report. You can also block the user from their profile. Reports go to our moderation queue; confirmed violators are removed from Peep.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your off-chain profile, group memberships, chat history, and analytics within 30 days. On-chain transactions and broadcast ledger records remain forever because public blockchains are immutable by design.

Why does the app ask for notification permission when I create a price alert?

So we can actually notify you when the alert fires. We do not ask for notification permission during onboarding — we ask only when you set up something that depends on it.

Is Peep available in my country?

Peep ships globally via the Apple App Store, except in jurisdictions subject to comprehensive U.S., EU, or UN sanctions. See the Terms of Service for details.
